Z3DLabs is your personal lab for medical additive manufacturing. Thanks to highly advanced software and printing materials you can print medical bone implants that are biocompatible, mechanically stable and aesthetically excellent.

This is how it works:

  • Upload your medical files
    You can easily upload your own medical files about the patients bone defect. This has to be an advanced .stl file or a dicom file (a scan). Z3DLabs will then transfer your file to a 3D-printable file type.
  • See your model in 3D
    You can see your model in 3D and explore each detail, more accurate then ever.
  • Start printing
    Is your model ready? Then we print your model using a highly advanced and unique 3D printing techniques: Digital Light Processing in combination with Stereo Lithography.

Your model will be printed using composites, Zirconium oxide and Aluminium oxide, in order to increase the fracture toughness of pure ceramic implants and possibly decrease shrinkage during high temperature treatment. These materials have adequate mechanical properties for bone healing applications. The result is a customized, mechanically stable, safer and aesthetically excellent implant. Also, the implant is stronger than other implants and has a lesser chance to end up in the patients bloodstream
